A view by the tracks

I went for a short little walk before karaoke, and my overall goal was looking for patterns. I think this qualifies. It’s the side of a building that sits no more than 30 feet from a very active rail line. I love trains, I enjoy the sound and the rhythm. I used to have an apartment that was like 200ft from an even more active line when living in the Milwaukee area. I think this would be a bit close for me. Then again, I can sleep through pretty much anything, so maybe it wouldn’t be an issue.

The only reason I snapped this was the power pole, that is no longer connected to anything, breaking up the pattern of windows on the steel siding. Is it an aware winning photo? Nope, not at all. But it said something to me while walking, and that’s all that matters.
